|Medical Officer (Specialist)||1371||MBBS degree included in the First Schedule OR Second Schedule OR Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) with a recognized and requisite Post Graduate Qualification in the respective Specialty and registration as Medical Practitioners in the Medical Council of India, OR any State Medical Council provided that the Candidate, if appointed, must register his/her name in the West Bengal Medical Council within 6 months of joining the West Bengal Health Service.|
|General Duty Medical Officer||1174||Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956 ) and Registration as Medical Practitioner in the Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council provided that the candidates, if selected and appointed , must register their names in the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining the West Bengal Health Service|
Age limit: Medical Officer (Specialist): Not more than 40 Years as on 1st. January, 2020, relaxable for 2(two) years for otherwise well qualified and experienced candidates of minimum 5 years.
General Duty Medical Officer: Ordinarily not more than 36 Years on 1 St . January, 2020 for ordinary Medical Graduates, and 40 Years for those possessing Post Graduate qualifications, relaxable further for 2 more years for otherwise well qualified and experienced candidates of minimum 5 year.
Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD Candidates as per rules.
Pay: Candidates joining NLCIL as Graduate Executive Trainee (GET) will undergo training for One year. During Training period, basic pay of INR. 50,000 in the scale of pay of INR. 50,000-1,60,000 (E-2 Grade) will be paid. On successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed in E3 Grade in the scale of pay INR. 60,000-1,80,000 with a basic pay of INR. 60,000.
Selection Process: Candidates who apply for the post will be shortlisted for personal interview in the order of merit based on the Marks scored in the examination.
