SSC is conducting SSC JE 2019 Exam to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineers Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying and contract Posts . Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SSC JE examination giving candidates a golden opportunity to fulfill their dream of joining the prestigious Government Sector. Staff Selection Commission will release the official notification for Junior Engineer posts SSC JE 2019 and on August 1, 2019. The Commission, for now, has released a short notice in employment news this week confirming the release date of the official notification. Candidates who want to check for the notice can visit the official site of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
The eligibility criteria for SSC JE Junior Engineer posts are to have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. For Junior Hindi Translator posts, candidates should have a master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. The age limit to apply for Junior Engineer posts should be up to 32 years of age for most departments.

Selection Process of SSC JE
The selection process of Junior Engineer posts carries written examination (Paper I and Paper II) followed by physical efficiency test and document verification. Paper I is a computer-based test and Paper II is descriptive type test. The objective type test comprises of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering. Paper-II comprises of General Engineering. In Paper-I and Paper-II for General Engineering, the candidate will be required to attempt only the part as per option is given in the application form filled by the candidate.
The selection process of Junior Hindi Translator also comprises of written examination (Paper I and Paper II) and document verification. Based on marks of both the papers, candidates will be called for document verification. Paper I will consist of General Hindi and General English subject and Paper-II will have translation and essay. Paper-I will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the question.
