The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to release the official notification for 14,059 vacancies in the Indian Railways on 29th December 2018. Out of the 13487 vacancies, 8779 vacancies will be for Junior Engineer (JE) and 4304 vacancies will be for Senior Section Engineer (SSE). The application process for the same will begin from 2nd January 2019 and will continue till 31st January 2019. The information has been confirmed through an internal notice circulated on social media.

Last Date Pay Exam Fee: 04/02/2019 offline
Last Date Pay Exam Fee: 05/02/2019 online
Last date to complete form: 07/02/2019
Exam Date: April/may 2019
Admit card : 10 days prior to the exam date.
Result date: notified soon
Application Fee: Unreserved category candidates should pay an application fee of ₹ 500.
Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the application fee.
Pay the Exam Fee Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking Only.
RRB JE Vacancy 2019 Details
Vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer and Senior Engineer will be announced region-wise. Here is the approximate number of vacancies for both the posts:

RRB JE Exam Latest Notification:
- The North Western Railway is expected to release more than 13487 vacancies for Junior Engineer (JE) and Senior Section Engineer (SSE).
- The official notification will tentatively be released on 29th December through the Employment Newspaper.
- Age Limit: The applicant should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 33 years of age.
- There is age-relaxation for Reserved Category candidates. Candidates can check the details in the official notification.

There is a provision of negative marking in the exam. 1/3rd of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted for the wrong answer.
A candidate should have 3 years Engineering Diploma from a recognised University/institute in any one of the subjects Mechanical/Production Engineering/Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing/Tools & Die Making/Mechatronics/ Industrial/Machining/Automobile/Instrumentation & Control/Tools & Machining/Civil Engineering.
B.Sc. (three years) in Civil Engineering or a combination of any sub-stream of Civil engineering basic streams from a recognised University.
