The Bihar School Examination Board is going to going to conduct the State Teachers Eligibility Test 2019 (STET) and Physical Education and Health Instructor Examination 2019 (PEHIE) on November 7. The aspirants will have to fill online application forms for the two examinations between September 9, 2019 and September 18, 2019.

Bihar STET vacancies in government schools for secondary and higher secondary classes. For STET exam, candidates will appear for the paper I (classes IX and X) and paper II (classes XI and XII) against 25,270 and 12,065 vacancies.

Selection procedure: The candidates will have to appear for written exam and physical fitness test. The written test of paper I and paper II of STET will be of 150 marks each – 100 marks for the selected subject and 50 marks for reasoning. The duration of examination will be two-and-a-half hours.

paper 1, candidates can choose one of the seven subjects – English, mathematics, science, social science, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu.

Paper II, candidates can select English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology and computer science.

The selections of all the applicants shall be based on the STET and the minimum qualifying marks for qualifying in the test is 60% for all the candidates.

How to Apply:  

Stage 1: Basic Registration by clicking on “Register (New Candidate)” and Generation of Unique Registration Number. A SMS and Email (please check SPAM) is sent on successful registration.   NOTE: Online Form is not complete at this stage. You have to click on “LOGIN to Continue” or Re-login to complete the form.

Stage 2: RE-LOGIN by clicking on “Login (Already Registered)” with UNIQUE REGISTRATION NUMBER and DATE OF BIRTH and completion of form by completing the following tabs:

  1. Personal Details & Educational Qualification
  2. Upload of Photograph & Signatures
  3. Payment of Fees & Generation of Registration Slip.
